auch wenn die Anfrage schon etwas älter ist, wollte ich zumindest mal noch antworten. Der Fehler tritt meist auf, wenn Java nicht richtig installiert ist oder kein passendes gefunden werden konnte. Du kannst auch mal in die angegebene Datei reinschauen, meist steht da zumindest ungefähr die Richtung, wo der Fehler liegt.

ich habe das selbe Problem.

Ich benutze: Apple iMac OSX El Captain

Beim ersten Mal öffnen kam die Meldung, daß ich eine alte Version von Java verwenden muß (ich glaube Version 6 oder so). Ich habe diese Installiert. Dann kam die Meldung: An error has occurred. se the log file/ Applications/ Fakturama2.app/ Contents / Eclipse/ 1543168491026.log.

Dann habe ich auf eurer Homepage gelesen, daß man Java 8 oder höher benötigt. Ich habe Java JDK 11.0.1 installiert. Es funktioniert immer noch nicht. In der Log-Datei steht folgender Text:
