In the VAT list editor, there is no way to record the VAT category code (Z, S, E, AE, K, G, etc.). As an example, should the user enter category code K, Fakturama will return "VATEX-EU-IC (Intra-Community supply)" as the "ID for the exemption reason" when exporting to EN16931. In v2.2.0-beta, VAT category code defaults to 'S' which doesn't make sense. The e-invoice produced is inaccurate when one applies a % VAT rate as this contradicts the 'S' code. A few other scenarios will inevitably lead to false VAT declarations.

BT-118 and BT-151 are mandatory for EN16931 profiles Basic and above.

Lastly, v2.2.0-beta cannot be used for invoicing a company located in another EU member state or outside the EU.

Well, it appears to be less straightforward than I had anticipated. Indeed, validation rules for certain VAT Category Codes require either of ExemptionReason or ExemptionReasonCode to be set. Thus, I would welcome the possibility for users to set both CategoryCode and ExemptionReasonCode according to their need.

I apologize. A drop-down list "VAT code (E-invoice)" is available in the beta version 25.08.25. This list was not working on my test install but uninstalling, deleting the .fakturama2 then reinstalling Fakturama fixed my issue (thanks @Boarschti).

ApplicableTradeTax/CategoryCode is reporting a valid value in faktur-X.xml.

The VATEX code is still missing (maybe available as from the next beta?)
